The Shiva Yantra is painted on smoothened MDF surface to make a perfect base for the acrylic colours. The green is used to symbolize health, because Shiva is also named as Lord Mrityunjaya – the one helps conquer death. The Shivalinga in the centre is hand painted to give a smoky effect to signify – Ash, which is dear to the Lord. The yantra is bordered with stones to indicate the presence of Shakti, without whom he is incomplete.

Painted with all the elements adorned by the Lord –

  1. Serpent
  2. Crescent Moon
  3. Trident
  4. Damru
  5. Third Eye
  6. Tiger Skin
  7. Rudraksh
  8. Ganga

Shiva is known as the Father of Yoga, which teaches us to blossom like the lotus in muddy water, and so, the full bloom Lotus upon which he is seated in the yantra. And the Crescent Moon symbolizing space, as he is the Master of Time.

Description

Yantra literally means \”instrument\”. A Yantra is a geometric design acting as a highly efficient tool for contemplation, concentration and meditation. Yantras carry spiritual significance, and point the user to higher levels of consciousness. The Yantra provides a focal point that is a window into the absolute. When the mind is concentrated on a single, simple object (in this case a Yantra), the mental chatter ceases. Eventually, the object is dropped when the mind can remain empty and silent without help. In the most advanced phases, it is possible to attain union with God by the geometric visualization of a Yantra.

A Yantra is a geometrical diagram, which creates a field of power that lives, breathes and moves with life, and within which, the powers of the Divine can be invoked.
